Title: Netplex verses RS232

I understand that the MEI SC6602 is the correct bill validator for the S2000 (Netplex), but why exactly does the SC6607 (RS232) work equally well ? I thought it had to be Netplex.  I never realized it before but two of my S2000 machines have the SC6607 BV.  :Scratch-Head:

The 6607 heads can be reflashed to work but you must have the netplex interface card and harness.
