Title: Catch a Wave... blinking light
Post by: SilverFerret on March 20, 2014, 09:43:17 AM
I installed Catch a Wave software for the first time on a 3902 board and it seems to work fine although the top light blinks continually. I've heard of this issue with 044 boards as I recall but this was just swapping one game out for another. This swap also swapped a new tray and 3902 board as well. Could that be the issue?
Thanks, Jim

Jim  Are you talking about the top light on the candle??  Press the service button one time. ( next to the cash out button )

Hey Buzz, Yes I am and I tried that.... although at one point I remember having to hit it harder to get it to go off. I'll try that again when I get home. K.I.S.S (keep it simple stupid) Sometimes it's just that easy.
I'll let you know.
Thanks Buzz, Jim

Try opening the door, pressing the test button on the board to take you to the menu.  See if there is any "Pending Status" messages like "printer paper low" or "validation system failure".

Problem solved. Ticket printer was enabled but doesn't work. Needed to key it and all is good.
Thanks guys, Jim
