win/credit display s2000

does anyone have any input to as of why my machine keeps burning up the win credit display? 2nd board burnt in the same exact spot as soon as i powered the machine on

You have a short somewhere....look for it.
Start with the wiring for the display, then back to the backplane.

Is this something that just started? Have you changed any wiring harnesses? 
Those traces are the 13V power supply to the board. Unless the display panel is touching on metal somewhere it shouldn't be, or a wrong SENET cable has been used, I would replace the door I/O card.

no I haven't changed anything, it was playing fine the other day and when i was playing for a bit and started to smell smoke so I shut it down and traced to the display so I looked at harnesses and saw nothing suspect, so few day go by while waiting for replacement. I put the replacement in and istantly smelled smoke, shut it down looked at the board and it's burnt the same exact spot as previous board

As Bunker said, it could go clear back to the backplane through the door I/O card.  Check the wire harnesses where they go from the door to the cabinet. Could have pinched one. Will the machine boot up without plugging in the display? Everything else OK?

yes it plays just fine with out the display
