Title: IGT Video Poker pays out on every win. What to go to credits.
Post by: Amechanic on September 01, 2018, 12:57:51 PM
Just got back from picking up this Fortune II Video Poker and stand for $100. Seller said it needed to be reset? First thing I noticed was that the cards on the screen were upside down?🤔. After checking a few things I found that the MPU board was not seated. After getting that rectified the screen inverted it’s self, but it’s not a crisp picture. Things are wavy, cards edges and fonts.
My main thing now is to get the machine to put the winning from paying out everything, to going to credits. Does anyone know if this is can be done by dip switch settings? Every other one I’ve owned went to credits.

According to the Fortune II manual the dipswitch is located on the motherboard and it has 8 mini-switches. Here is the chart in the manual for what the dipswitch settings control. But maybe it is possible that eprom game software that came out later than this manual might use the dipswitch in a different way. If you or someone here has a Fortune II machine that is working the way you want it to regarding credits maybe you can get the dipswitch settings from that machine, or you can install different poker game software chips into this machine that have a credit option?

One of the dipswitch settings is for an inverted screen. Maybe that has something to do with your upside down image? Could be a flaky dipswitch or something on that logic line?
