Help with ID of Machine and troubleshooting
« on: February 13, 2015, 09:29:15 AM »
Found this monster on craigslist. Seller did not post pics and stated it was a 3 reel slot. I arrived and was disappointed but decided to get it anyway since I made the drive. It was made by IGT, but thats all I know. Can someone please help ID the machine so I can get some type of manual for me. When I power it on, The screen comes up, you can see the "reels" on the screen with the bars, sevens ect.. but that is all it does. Some of the text on the screen appears backwards also. I'm assuming the problem is on the main board, "not alot else in machine", but did not know where to start. If I press the "options" button, the background color changes on the screen. Thanks for any help, this is a beast machine.

You found yourself a Fortune 2 machine!  :applause: You can hunt around for the manual on here. If you can't download it for free, then you can become a Contributing Member for a few bucks.

The IGT Video Slots forum is your new bible! Since your monitor lights up, I'd say you've conquered half the battle already! The big board you pulled for pics is your MPU, and the 2 boards shown still in the tray are your Sound and I/O Boards.

Good luck! I'd help if I could!

Thank you for your reply, just knowing what kind of machine helps a ton. I will get the manual and see what I can come up with. Thanks again!
