Instead of covering the player tracking plate hole with black paper, I decided to make a mod for my Bally Alphas. I machined the text into white acrylic. The front plate is 1/4 thick polycarbonate. The lamp housing is 1 inch PVC. I'm using programmable RGB LED strips.
-
Very nice. What did you use to machine the text? I have a friend with a C&C machine. I suppose that would work???
-
I have 3 cnc machining centers. I used one of them on this project.
-
Those are cool mods. :cool_thumb_up:

Thanks Rick,
I've been designing/machining/selling parts for pinball machines for a few years now. I thought I'd make a few mods for some of my slots.
Here's some pics of my polygon topper base adapters I made for my IGTs.
-
Did you 3D print the base adapters?
-
No, the adapters are 3-D machined on my cnc machining center. The material is black delrin, (acetal)
-
Nice!

Thanks Rick...
You should see the pinball stuff that I sell...

Wow, out of my ballpark. That's is some cool stuff! I've always wanted to have a pinball machine, but have never gotten around to getting one. Now I have no space with all the slots all over. Maybe one day when my son moves out and his room is vacated, I will convert that to a small personal arcade.

I've got 34 pins right now. 3 are NIB...Wizard of Oz, Medieval Madness, (remake) and Ghostbusters LE. Also have several other nice titles, Indiana Jones, Addams Family, Twilight Zone, etc.
-
Wow, I'm going to need to buy the house next door so I can put all my stuff and then have my pinball and arcade machine room. Nice collection. Indiana Jones and Adams Family have always been my favorites. For some reason I also like South Park...
