Title: G20 AVP3.0 could not find library system.so
Post by: jrmbsn !! on February 23, 2017, 05:21:17 AM
I have a message displayed during the boot up, just after HDD authentification, telling me "could not find library system.so".
Does someone seen that before? any tip to fix it?

I have had this same problem. Either there is no operating system on the hard drive or the boot chips that are in there are not compatible with the OS installed.

Or the drive itself is bad....

SSD's can fail also...

Or it could just be that the harddrive needs reseating. Open thr cpu and unplug the sata cable and plug it back in on the main board.

It happens at times with me and that is what I do

It is authenticating the hard drive, so it is not loose.  I agree with morspeed.

It “sees” the drive, so looks like your boots don’t match OS.

The BIOS looks for an OS at a USB port first (Diagnostic or OS install thumb drive). It then scans SATA Ports for OS, if none found at USB’s.

Hope this helps....
