Title: IGT S Plus Play With The Presidents machine info
Post by: newkid3 on March 17, 2024, 07:02:00 AM
Hello all,  I picked up a IGT S Plus machine a couple of days ago that I could not pass up. I have never seen this game. I was wondering if anyone out there has any documentation on this machine or has heard of it before. I take it that it is a remake from an original "WILDSTAR RED WHITE AND BLUE machine since that is the prom chip that is in the board.
Cosmetically it is in pretty good shape for setting around in a Warehouse for many years. Now the MPU and motherboard is another story. I had to grind the far right hand mounting point screw away to get the motherboard out where the battery corrosion had ate the screw up. Luckily it did have the clear plastic piece on top of it that caught almost everything from the battery. I am going to send those boards off to see if they can be repaired. The only thing I can tell so far that it is missing is the 25 cent hopper. Now if everything else is going to work I have no idea yet.
I am really curious about the machine and hoping someone might have some documentation on it of maybe where it was converted or any info. I did not know if any records were keep of machines that were converted for a casino or something like that.

   Thanks

Here is a Pic of the reel Prom chip. My tablet is only letting me post one pic at a time for some reason.

You're right about these old pieces being clones, of other games.
Same games, just different graphics.

For the longest time, I've only heard of a company called Sunkist Graphics making slot machine reel strips and glass art.
Nowadays, the online gambling websites employ computer graphic design students straight out of college to come up with the most amazing video animations that totally out-do anything Sunkist Graphics was able to make back then.
A lot of these one-time designs will be sitting around gathering dust in storage.
I'll betcha the most copied themes were Elvis and Las Vegas.
I've also seen Evil Knievel and Sponge Bob....lol

Evil Knievel is a real IGT S2000 theme, not a clone. It even has it's own sound simm:  "If you think your job is bad, try jumping busses for a living."
