Title: S+ Reel Machine
Post by: gmesubed on August 31, 2016, 12:30:39 PM
I was setting up this S+ for slot tournaments and some how I may have set to auto spin. It will not let me go into menu or anything else when I press on the key switch or key it over. Do I have to RAM clear it? If so what would be the correct RAM chip to use on it? The chips on the CPU board are much smaller than any other game chips I've seen. On the board there's the GAME PROM:# IGT992 014514,512 L97-1719, REEL PROM: # IGT ST0042 64K L97-0573. These 2 chips have 28 pins(legs) on them. The regular size chip on there has 'SIEMENS' written on it with #s SAB-C5001G-LP,SAB-80C32.

The game does not use any coins or any form of money for plays. We use it on our floor for slot tournaments only. I tried to set it up for tournament but somewhere down the line I enabled (maybe) the autospin and it wont stop the auto spin no matter what I do to it. Any suggestions to get it back to the normal menu? I thought maybe I just need to perform a RAM on it but I'm not sure which RAM chips to use.

Thank you in advance!

Looks like your game prom is wrong type, you need one that is type 14, SP-1311 is the newest.

SP992 = GAME TYPE
Type 0 (no special features), Type 1 (Slam Dunk, Balloon Bars, etc.), Type 4 (Spin ’Til You Win), and Type 5 (4th of July).
