Title: AVP Hard Drive
Post by: JDKMunch on July 27, 2017, 01:52:21 PM
Does anyone know what type of file system is on an AVP Hard drive -

I'm not able to read the drive on any operating system - Windows, Mac, Linux

I want to resize the partition but nothing seems to see it

Can't read it. System IS Proprietary QNX or something like that. You would have to delete the volume and start over and even then when you put it back in the avp may not recognize and want to reformat. Why would you want to do this? Add games to different partitions? But then how would you select the partition on the avp?

QNX is actually not a proprietary file system, it has been around for quite sometime as a secured linux partition type.  You can mount it in a linux box with the -t qnx4 option.  Your kernel has to have the support for qnx on it.  If it doesn't, you can recompile and replace the current kernel to enable it.  You can check if your kernal has it by probing it by typing "modprobe qnx4"
