FYI ...great videos below

Hi Im assuming you are referring to a Bally Alpha 1 V32?

I have this machine running o/s AVOS00000336-09 BIOS AVBBP26SIMPU-07

The great thing about these Bally Alpha machines is you can run lots of games.
Just a few I run.... cash spin, winning offer, quick hits platinum, etc..

All you need to do is get a clear card for this machine. Mine is labeled 09 Alpha Video Clear I acquired from betterslots.com

Turn off the Bally Alpha CPU power by sliding the small atx switch to the left of the o/s card.
Remove the top card o/s card and replace with the clear card.
Remove the bottom card game card.

Turn back on power with atx switch, when it shows the clear screen, turn the jackpot key. Wait for the NVRAM clear message.

Turn off the power again with the atx switch
Install you original o/s card in top slot.
Install your new game card bottom slot.
Turn power back on, takes about 5 minutes to boot up into game screen.

fyi...some progressive games i.e quick hits have set specific amount for payouts.

LEVEL 1    5000   X MAX BET
LEVEL 2   2000   X MAX BET
LEVEL 3   650   X MAX BET
LEVEL 4   100   X MAX BET
LEVEL 5   50   X MAX BET
LEVEL 6   10   X MAX BET

Hi
I believe if you upgrade your o/s bios  to   AVOS00000336-09 BIOS AVBBP26SIMPU-07. Upgrade to 2GB Ram. Memory sticks have to be identical. You might be able to pull a 1gb mem stick from one of your other machines. 336-05 O/S may work, im just not familiar with that version.

This is what I have in my A1 and I can play anything... no issues.

Hope this helps some.

He is correct, those are some older type boards and the memory is not expandable. The actual part number for those CPUs should have a label right above the compact flash card slot. Probably a 200xxx Rev x. Those look the same type of bd I have in my Bally Alpha S9000E Part # 200173 Rev D( 400mhz / 512MB ram)

I bet it will work if you install a newer type CPU part number 204694  Rev F ( 1Ghz / 1GB Ram ) expandable to 2gb ram. Must use identical type memory chip

These CPUs  are the ones that are in the Bally Alpha 1 V32. I believe 2009 and later

Hi
I would change the entire CPU to a 204694  Rev F. Make sure the new CPU has the video card in the PCI slot. Im going off memory here so I believe its a dual vga output NVidia FX5200 128MB PCI. You use the top vga port only to run the 32 in LCD.
