Title: WMS Bluebird 2 BB2 Will Not Load Game
Post by: Tacman on February 11, 2014, 11:25:31 AM
Anybody out there with a BB2 that has seen this issue? ??? ??
Trying to load a game using Sandisk Ultra II CFs.
After RAM Clear, the game loads normally and and passes all the typical tests (http://newlifegames.net/nlg/index.php?topic=20921.0#). (all displayed in text)
Then, the lower screen displays the typical WMS Blue screen with the caption "Configuration in Progress" with the green bar/ball moving back and forth near the bottom.
After waiting for a while, pressing the diagnostic button will allow setting the time, machine data, etc., but an error is listed on the upper right hand side of the diag screen, 'No Game Configured".
"Call Attendant" scrolls in the 'Blue box' top to bottom.
No go past this point.
The Pfef

You have interrupted the full loading of the game, therefore "Game not Configured" error. Clear and reload OS and game and let the configuration run its course. When it is done, the game should come up on screen and give you the annoying alert sound and settings prompt to complete your settings, sometimes the sound and prompt will come on without the game on screen.

I have seen this behavior too -

The bb2 is really picky when it comes to OS cards.   I only use original os cards now.    Using sandisk cards I have even had a game boot and play but after several hours the game would tilt with an os signature not valid error and I would have to reboot.

This never happens with original cards.
