Title: Converting a 1970 Draw Poker from CGA to VGA
Post by: erbarr1 on March 02, 2019, 11:06:18 PM

Hello all and thanks in advance for any time and consideration given to my issue.  I purchased a working 1970 Draw Poker machine and the only issue I have is that it seems like the pic tube is going out so I looked into converting it to a simple PC monitor.  I purchased the GBS 8200 V4.0 2018 11.20 on Amazon.  The GBS 8200 has inputs that are Red, Blue, Green, Ground and a Sync.  The cable that comes from 'motherboard' in the cabinet to the old tv monitor a Red, Green, Black and a clear like grey wires.  I did connect the Red to red, grn to grn and blk to grn.  I swapped the clear like grey wire to sync and then to Blue but either way no pic on my newer monitor.  Does anyone have any ideas??  I'm by far a computer tech but I can match colors so please keep it simple for me.  Thanks!!

Eddie
