Title: Help!
Post by: Bluezl1 on January 21, 2020, 05:56:02 PM
I just received a git s2000 multi denomination 5 reel machine
When I plug it in the lights come on and the screen says display checked
And the bill acceptor keeps making a noise and the yellow lights are on and the red lights blink with a click noise any ideas what it needs to repair?

Red light on the MPU means something's wrong with the chips...should only be green or amber.

Turn off power, pull out board and inspect chips that go into sockets.
Take a good photo of all the chips onboard (Keep under 1000Kb)
and attach to your next Reply utilizing "Attachments and other options"

Yep...something's wrong with your chips for sure.

Could be just a minor thing like a folded under chip leg or wrong orientation.

A picture is worth a thousand words.
We have trained eyes that could tell you more about your MPU.

Check your battery voltage with a mutimeter too...give us the voltage in dc left in it.

You need to send that board in for someone to look at and test.
The base chip in U21 is a copy and I have no idea what the Version chip in U44 is although it does have a commission tape on them.
Are you able to desolder/remove the battery to check voltage?
If not, you need to get the MPU & software checked out.

Have you seen this machine work before?

I pulled board out and pressed on all chips and put back in and it went through the checking memory and spun the reels 1 time and now it says
Door open m and main battery low

You answered not one of my questions sir.

I am trying to help you.

I would suggest that you change the battery.
