Title: Proper Reel strips
Post by: Border01 on February 02, 2020, 03:52:47 PM
I’m getting confused  on the proper reel strips. Have an S2000 with a 502 MPU. Using SB100390 and SG000363. It is a single line, 5 credit, 3 reel. What are the proper reel strip numbers?

These are the 2 sets of strips I have

84850800
84877200
84877300

Set 2

84825400
84825500
84825600

Neither plays correctly

I don't have the strip numbers but have description saying that SB100390 is ABA meaning 1st and 3rd strip are the same.  Also says the two A strips begin with a red 7 and the B strip begins with a triple bar.

hope that helps.

Of the 6 strips I have only the 84850800 starts with a 7. Maybe I need a different SB?
The 400 starts with a single bar
The 500 starts with a double bar
The 600 starts with a single bar

I’d really appreciate finding the solution to my issue

Don't know if there are any other SB's for TD 5c, I can't find any.  There are TD ABC 5c SS chips that with a SB1000 might work with the strips you have?

I don't think he has two of any strips the same.
With that in mind, they would never line up right on an S+ ABA game chip w/a SB10000.....unless....the SB chip requires 3 different strips?
I'm not sure.
I wonder if he has a slant machine strips?  :scratch-head_3:

Line #   2 1B 2B 1B
Line #   3 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #   4 TD TD TD
Line #   5 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #   6 2B 3B 2B
Line #   7 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #   8  7 2B  7
Line #   9 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  10 1B 3B 1B
Line #  11 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  12 3B  7 3B
Line #  13 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  14 2B 1B 1B
Line #  15 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  16 TD TD 2B
Line #  17 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  18 1B 2B 1B
Line #  19 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  20  7 1B  7
Line #  21 ~~ ~~ ~~
Line #  22 3B 3B 3B

Joey's Master EPROM list shows SB100390 as a cross for SS6318, 19, 20, 21. Assuming the information provided is correct, the 84825400, 500, 600 set should work in ABC order.

Update: I just installed a SB100390 with the ABC strips as indicated. It definitely does not work other than the fact that it is a 5 credit game. Pays are not even close to being correct. SS6318 does work perfectly. I will send you one tomorrow if you want no charge. Do you have a SB001000? Let me know.

Just curious, what strip numbers are being used for the Triple Diamond single line 5 coin multiplier?

Yes 84825400, 500, 600 with SS chip.

A DSV017 sound simm will work with SS chips like a 042 will, if you are tired of the 042 sound.
