Title: Ticket printer not working on certain I-games
Post by: Tilt on February 17, 2014, 11:56:33 AM
I picked up a lot of new gaming software recently, but for some reason I can't get the ticket printer to work with Little Green Men, Hexbreaker, and Pharoah's Fortune.  I've enabled the printer, disabled the hopper, etc. on the peripheral devices menu like I always do.  I've also increased the limit set-ups to their maximum values.  Despite this, whenever the cash out button is hit, an alarm goes off and the Handpay Required message comes on the screen.  I am not having this problem with the other games I bought, only these three.  It seems like there's something else in the set-up menu that needs to be changed, but I haven't figured out what that might be.  Has anyone experienced this before?  Thanks for your suggestions.

Thanks for the reply.  Is this one of the screens that you're referring to?  On my Validation & Redemption Setup screen, the settings are as follows:

Solved - I changed the Validation Setting to SAS Standard Validation and now the ticket printer works.  Thanks for your help.

A quick question... are these settings changed from the key chip menu, or form the test button through the settings menu? I tried from the test button setting menu but my touch screen is jacked up in places so I'm not quite sure if I couldn't change it due to being in the wrong menu or just that the touch screen didn't register the touch.
Thanks, Jim
