Title: Monitor recs for vga conversion 15”
Post by: Phan000 on June 15, 2020, 06:31:52 AM
Hello,

I was able to switch from crt to vga, but the dell lcd monitor that I have is unable to center the screen.  Even with manual adjustment,  part of the screen is off the left side.

What 15” monitor models have people been successful with?

Also, What did you use to replace the curved bezel?

Thanks!

The OSD didn't let you pull in the horizontal? I've been able to do it via different settings.

But the main thing be been looking out for was making sure my CRT screen ratio (5:4 on mine) matched the LCD I got.

What was your CRT? Is your LCD sized the same?

The monitor was the same size 14” as the old crt.

I was able to adjust the lcd using the OSD, but it still had a portion off the screen to the left.

Frustrating part is that  as the monitor, (dell 2005) went through autocorrect,  it was perfect for a moment, then ended with a hard left bias.

I’ll probably pick up a different mode to see if that improves.
