GameMaker (J) settings
« on: January 20, 2022, 02:19:23 AM »
Great evening to All. I have a V7000 board that was.given to me, and when I installed it in my machine, I pulled this screen up in the “checksum screen”. There are game chips in slots P1-P5. I’m trying to learn/Understand what this is about. The machine plays ONE game “HOT,HOT,HOT”. Is this some type of progressive or? I’m not understanding the reason behind 5 game chips for 1 game. Any rhyme or reason to this? I would appreciate any assistance, Thank You.

I'm not the expert you're looking for, but I believe Hot Hot Hot is a dedicated game.  Five game eproms filling P1-P5 all for the one game with P6-P10 being empty.  The machine can only play the one game.  To add other games you need to remove those five Hot Hot Hot eproms.

Wally what are you using to post here? I'm seeing words like this:

"“subject”"

Makes it difficult to read. Your quotes and apostrophes are displaying as code gibberish. Something, somewhere is not agreeing with your intended characters. Characters, coding, etc. I'm not an expert on this though.
