Title: Bally S6000 Blazing 7 - Progressive display mismatch
Post by: Nurbo on October 06, 2019, 11:41:41 AM
Hello,

I have a problem with the progressive display on my Bally S6000 Blazing 7.

When I start the machine, the Mikohn turns on and starts its initialization phase, the display is normal.

Meanwhile, the S6000 starts, and displays 91-0 on the screen.

At the end of the progressive start sequence, the error code 91-0 disappears and you can play normally. The amount of the progressive increases normally, BUT, the display is as stagger ... ???

To return to the normal display, remove the top glass, switch the Mikohn switch to MENU (ADDR, SYST, DISP), then put it back on the GAMES position.

And there the display becomes normal again.

Strange behaviour ? Do you have an idea of what is causing this problem?

Hello,

It was a bad Mikohn Progressive parameters...

I change F4 parameters in Jackpot Programming Menu and it's done !

F3 = SNGL
F4 = M-04 (instead of M-00 before)
F5 = 3sec
F6 = JP0
F7 = $$$$
F8 = MS08

Moderator/Admin : Perhaps to put my thread in Mikohn Progressive Systems ???

If you look at setting progressive set up for Bally  6000 it shows F4 being set to M-08 not M-00 or M-04
Yours is working on M-04 any way to check it using 08?
Did you use this link to set up your machine?

If M-04 works I could add a note M-04 or M-08 on that thread

Hello,

Yes I used the post that you quote but I adapted according to my tests.

I will try again on the options chosen and I will retest with F4 = M-08 but it does not work it seems to me.

I also found that in the documentation PSP v2.

With this Mikohn setup, I use this 11d settings (coin, no printer, BV installed but unplugged):

  9 = 6
  2 = 5
  7 = 1
  56 = 800
  51 = 800
  58 = 800
  78lo = 1
  73 = 3
  61 = 1
  81 = 1
  80 = 0

Hello Rich,

Both settings works.

F4 = M-04
F8 = MS08

or

F4 = M-08
F8 = MS00
