Title: BB2 To BB3 With BB3.5 CPU
Post by: dragster73 on June 04, 2021, 02:53:03 PM
I am installing a BB3 CPU into a BB2 cabinet. I have got the game installed this far however the screen size is not correct. See Photo. Any recommendations?

What game and OS?  Some BB3 OS versions have issues with bb2 monitor timings as they were never really meant to run on them.

You indicated that your are using a 3.5 CPU which usually comes with a different video card than a 3.2 CPU. That may be causing the problem.  What is the part number on the video card?

I do not know where to look for the video card version.

There's a green sticker on the side of the heatsink for the video card.  Post a photo of that here.  Also you do know the Wonka version you are trying to load is a Wide Area Progressive version that does not run stand-alone.

Some video cards had white labels on them too instead of green.  Just to be clear, there were 2 different versions of the video card, one of which is not as compatible with some of the games.  However, like Rick says, that game card you have is a WAP version of the game so not going to work unless you have the controller.
