Alright......looking to bring some new life to this old fan favorite now that I've got a little more free time. Machine went out during storm and has not been working since. I'll explain what I tried before I moved on to other projects.
Problem: Machine will not hold power. As soon as the main power switch is flipped, the power supply fan starts, cpu turns on, billval cycles, etc.,then machine instantly loses everything that just powered on. Almost instantly.
Things I've tried
1. Changed power supply to new working power supply
2. Placed new 2450N batteries in CPU and tried clearing
3. Changed video card in CPU
4. Tried new CPU NXT3.2 on the machine
after all of these thing my educated guess would be wiring......something in the harness maybe? I can also say none of that was touched. After it went out the machine wouldn't power on at all until power supply was changed. Now at least it tries to power on but cuts right back off. Lost on this one. Any assistance would be appreciated. If anymore information is needed please let me know.
This machine from what I do about WMS appears to be a BB2 cabinet that was converted as it's running a BB3 CPU inside. BB2e maybe as it does have the oled button panel?
