yes you do. I have a advantage 5 machine that I made a cable for. Not sure if its the same connection on your Konami?

I used (XG5N-141 OR1133-ND CONN SOCKET 14POS CRIMP) for the connector
& (XG5W-0231 OR1121-ND CRIMP SOCKET 22-26AWG GOLD) for the pins from digi-key

here is the scoop on the software
I wrote some software maybe 6 years ago for my s2000 IGT. But they still work to this day on all machines I’ve tested, including the Konami. I haven't done a K2V but I have on a advantage 5

You will need to make a sas cable to connect it to your computer and then run my software
Also have to setup SAS in your Konami machine if you have access to the settings and set the mode to enhanced
My software allows Tito of all connected machines, no limit on machines and also gives basic errors
I’m creating a new improved version of this software with a ton more of features, including tournament modes, voucher layout, loading credits, etc... But I can share the older one for now if you know how to hook the machine to a computer?

The connectors for Konami are different on each generation of their technology.
For example Advantage uses the same connectors for SAS (Slot Acounting System) within the EGM (Electronic Gaming Machine) on its backplane but Podium KP3 and KP3.5 aka KP3+ use a different connector and they look very much like molex connector only they are custom instead meaning in order to make SAS cables for this one would need to harvest those connectors from wire harnesses used in other systems.
This means to get a cable connected to a TITO device capable of interfacing enhanced SAS will be difficult in mass and we'd really need to group think the way forward for all Konami fans/home users to benefit from the solution being discussed.
I'd be happy to help co-develop a solution for our customers and will test said ideas or proto-types to get this problem solved.
Let me know and let me check out of the software and any documentation you have as I may be able to rewrite it and retool it for more modern platforms.

Connectors may be different but software should still work. Just have to find the TX-RX-GND pinout. I have tested my software with these so far.

its just a standard DB9 Serial Cable. I run a Edgeport that has 8 serial ports so you can hook u multiple machines.

I used pins 2,3 & 5.
5 is GND and 2,3 are TX-RX or RX-TX, try both ways, dont remember off hand.

Correction... Had SAS ID set to 0. Once I gave it a non-zero value data started coming over the serial port.

I'd like to create an SOP for this process with old software and new version you're working on which will help many of my customers who buy slot machines.
We need to get this to the level of BettorTITO for the home user enthusiest because many have been waiting a long time to get TITO outside of DEMO tickets going so they don't need to carry a pile of cash everytime they want to play their machines.
I'm volunteering to create this once I get the setup going on the KP3 and Selexion systems I getting read to test. K2V is something Dane has confirmed is workng I'd like to get that far with Podium KP3 and KP3.5/KP3+.
There would be an SOP (Standard Operating Proceedure) for Setup of this solution which would require any interested pay Tom for the work. Support for Konami is something I'll offer any who need it once the solution is verified and documented to a degree repeatable steps lead others to the victory.
Let me know what I need to do to get the version of the software so I can get this done, its long overdue.

hello I bought a tito card It has no errors machine works as it should but no printing tickets and no credit added i really want to be able to have this functions

i have a advantage 5 with rock around the clock rock all day it has a printer and a bill validator i used the clear card and reset and then changed all the settings I do not get any errors and game plays as it did but the printer, not printing and no credits add tried dip switch in all positions I bought the tito from brian

You got it working for an Aristocrat that allows you to add money directly to the game? (I'm not so much interested in all the neat tracking, but I want to be able to add 'credits' without having to use bills.)

I would like to know more about the software for Aristocrat MK7 WS, I've found that there are some limitations with software that runs a world base 5.07 of higher. The issue is that if a game is installed on a WS board it yanks some of the required settings for SAS to be supported with or without an SPC 2.0/2.5 interface card. Since you said you had successfully tested and confirmed the working software solution did that testing and confirmation include the SPC interface or was it using a PC into a specific port on the back plane of the WS?
Would be interested to find out how your successful test was set up.

Hello all!
I recently purchased an Konami Advantage 5 (Advantage+ M5R KGV2.0 URS) with "rock around the clock rock all day" (coolest slot machine BTW). It has the most recent current bill validator, but not a printer. I'm looking to set up TITO and I have zero clue about what hardware / software is needed as well as how to install? I did purchase a Konami board kit from TITO@Home. Not sure if that helps? I would really like to get the TITO setup ASAP and would be happy to pay someone if they are based in Scottsdale, AZ or remotely help me to help install and setup the TITO. Thank you!!!

You have the correct Clear Card? Will need that to make the changes.
