My sg300 works perfect as long as you use the BV to add credits . I have the correct coin comparator (MC16) but it just send coins through the diverter straight to the hopper without registering them . I have an extra coin comparator and does the same thing . did a self test and the optics were ok. Can anybody tell me if I have the settings wrong or if the dip switches are set incorrect

Once had an sg 150 where the ribbon cable wire coming from the inside to the board on the door had it's wires rubbed too much from the door, and one of the line oaths was open. Did you check ribbon cable for continuity?
Does the cc get power? Check voltage?
-
Thank you for replying..the CC is getting voltage but a little low 11.83 don't know if that is too low. I eyeballed the ribbon cable but will go back , take it off and check the continuity .could not find a lot of info on it I really appreciate the reply
-
Yes that ribbon cable can be troublesome, it is in a terrible spot.
-
checked voltage going to the cc . showing a little low but there is voltage, and i checked the door distribution board for bent pins and checked the continuity of the ribbon cable ,both are good

Is the diverter actually activating to flow coins to the hopper on power up, or is it stuck in that flow path?
I ask because if it was stick to hopper, than the following condition could happen?
-hopper credit could be set to 0 in settings, and so it wouldn't actually accept more coins into credit but theyd still flow to hopper?
Btw did it ever actually work in this machine, and it just stopped? 11.83v should be good enough.
Did you decrease sensitivity of the coin on the CC? If the CC was busted mechanically, it could also just pass thru each coin bit not accept them.
Take pics of your CC?

What coin is in the CC? Is that a token?

I cant find the correct coin comparitor anywhere, I need either MC16 (66460078) or MC40(66460088) the CC16 is a 6pin my machine carry a 7pin comparitor..i didnt know there was that much difference ,but now I know , I have a MC16(66460075) & MC40(66460444) , (66460200)-(66460091)
and that was just wishful thinking hoping they would work, Can something be modified or does anyone know where I may find what i nee. Game plays well but can only play using the BV to add credits ,and would like to be able to add coins

-
There dont seem to be any comparitors with the correct CMI# that I need in existence any more for the machine to accept coins. Since the correct coin comparitor cant be found, can it be Altered or is there anybody who can Modify it to work and credit the coins.
-
Don't know if mine is like yours but here is what is in it.
I don't know much about the sigma machines.
Maybe someone can let you know if I'm out in left field on this.
-
New to owning my Sigma, so please take this with a grain of salt. Did you check your battery? I ask, because my machine didn't give me any low battery errors or anything but the Coin Comparator was acting like you described. I tested it and it was low with 2.2 volts. Once I replaced the battery, the CC has been working just fine.

battery checks out at 2.9 volts ,not sure if thats to low but i will try another ,,thanks
