Title: What Model Sigma Is This
Post by: mwade109 on October 05, 2021, 06:32:36 PM
First place to start is getting the correct model.  The plate says W3113, the person I purchased it from gave me a manual for a SG150b.  I have had no luck finding anything about the W3113 so I am kinda wondering if maybe there isn't a different number I should be searching.  I thought the machine was a Red, White & Blue 7's when I first saw it but I guess this is Sigmas version of if. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like my double jackpot. Other than mine takes 3 coins. The manual you got should apply.

Thanks but there are too many differences to use the SG150 manual, notably, there is no room for a bill acceptor, mine has 3 keys up on the side whereas 150 I believe has one, the door switch and test buttons are in different spots, my mainboard uses a capacitor whereas I believe the 150 uses a battery. I believe the SG150 uses a SG88M mainboard where mine uses a B31-1E Mainboard.  Thats why I am trying to get in identified so maybe, and I believe that is gonna be a BIG maybe, find a service manual for this model.

Can you upload a couple pics of your machine?

Sent you a pm. Mine is a w4213. Has 3 switches above the plate, that I changed to buttons. Had an issue with the wiring on them tonstart, wires were on the wrong terminals originally, corrected with the new buttons.

I assume you mean the three switches in the pic? If so, any chance I would get you to take a pic of the inside with the wires attached or can you tell me if they are hooked up to the normally open or normally closed terminals?  If you can't upload here you can email to mwade109@gmail.com
Thanks

If just 2 wires - try Common and Normally Open. Most switches are wired that way in the steady not active state. When activated they usually switch in a ground - C (ground ) NO ( to MPU input or what ever is used to sense the key switch has been activated )

The SG150 manual shows all the switches wired C and NO tabs.

If you have the wires hanging out like in the picture - just connect them together to get the simulate motion if the reset switch. The switches on the Sigma are turn and stay, then turn back to go back to game mode.

You can try that until Papacon78 gets you a picture if you like.
