I'm interested in finding out more information on the DBV-45, IDO44, V3.2. Any information would be helpful.
Can I take my DBV-45 bill validator and replace it with a dbv-200 bill validator?
David
:thank_you:

So, is it outdated, or can it be upgraded.

From the 145....most people went to the DBV-200.

Mine is a DBV-45 bill validator.

Typo... sorry
The DBV-200 takes some of the large headed USA bills.
I'd get a hold of Jim at Midwest Slots.
Phone#'s on homepage of NLG.

Someone said the 45 and 145 are actually the same. Don't know if it's true.

The 200 head is a drop in replacement for the 45/145 but make sure you get a replacement power supply with the new head as the ones for the older series don’t have enough amps. Visually they look about the same but the 200 has vents and a few have fins.

since you have a Bally machine, remove the plastic input cover from the 45 unit and see what kind of bill throat is on that unit, Bally typically used a SH model, has a permanent plastic bill guide on the front.
Hope this helps

I'll be contacting you about it. Thanks.

I figured out that a DBV-200-SH will work. However I can't locate one on the internet. K-LAR and Jim's Slots don't have any to sell.
