Have an IGT 1986 701CR, is the payout adjustable on this machine, the win odds appear to be very low.
Thanks, Rick

On those early video poker machines, I believe the winning percentage is determined by the gaming chips. They are not adjustable like on a GK machine.

Thanks, can the chip be replaced w/ a chip with a higher payout or is it require changing the board?

The major issue would be locating the software. You have a machine that’s at least 35 old. Some of those game EPROMs require specific chips that only curtain chip burners can be used. I wouldn’t have any idea who could help yea with the game chips.

I'd try contacting Alan at KLAR. The number/website is on our home page.

There was a member here by the name of the old geezer, or something like that that he had a bunch of these games chip sets. I have not seen him on an NLG for a while now.

Ya, I still have my working tri voltage programmer for those older chips plus blank chips and a library of software on chips.
Unfortunately PAR sheets on the software is not available.
