Hey guys, just wanted to let you know, the May issue if SlotOwners Magazine was just released. If you subscribe by PDF, it's already in your email box. If you subscribe via Android, it's ready to download. If you subscribe through Apple Newsstand on your iPad or iPhone, it should be showing in Newsstand within 24 hours.

Strange. Send me your email address and I'll send you over the PDF version. Interested to see if anyone else is having this problem with the iOS version. Works fine on both my iPhone and iPad when testing it.

Still, if anyone else is having this issue, let me know. It means something is wrong on apple's end. I know everything was fine when it was submitted, since it worked on my devices, and apple has to review every issue to make sure it works before it's approved (thats why apple issues take a few days longer from the other formats when a new issue comes out). So if something isn't working right now, it would have to be that something happened on apples end from the time of release up until now, so I'd simply resubmit it for approval again.
Andy, are the other issues working for you?

There is no problem with other 4 issiue. Just with this May. I just completely delete everyone and download again to my ipad still the same all others are fine but this May issue giving me the same error.

Strange. Anyway, you've got the May issue in PDF format waiting in your email box. Worst case, you can simply drag that into itunes and it will sync up and appear in iBooks

Ive messaged twice so far over the past 2 weeks in reagrds to june and have had no repsonse. What gives? Is the magaizine discontinued? If so, it sucks for folks such as myself who paid for a Year subscription. And if this is the case a curtisy notification would be nice.

I was able to locate the May Issue that I had tucked away in another email folder. Still nothing for June. :no: Did anyone else receive an Issue (pdf or otherwise) for June?

I don't think he closed shop. His web site is still active and he is still taking subscriptions to Slot Owners Magazine on his web site, along with all of the other projects he has going.
No clue as to why he is not responding to any of our e-mails, PM's or Web site contacts. I have tried all three methods several times since July 5th and got no response.
I also noticed that he has not logged into NLG (at least not using his username) since July 5th.
I would be nice if he, or someone else that knows what's going on would fill us in.
It would kinda suck for all of us who paid the $50 for the yearly subscription if we only get the five issues. :scratch-head_2:

I don't know about everyone else, but I have PMd AngryNinja, and emailed every email address I can find and I still get no response. Paypal was no help either. He was on here 3 days ago.

I just went to his web site and left one more plea for an explanation. I can only speculate but perhaps something catastrophic happened in his life that knocked him for a loop.

Having been down this road with a project like this for work, I can tell you writing a monthly periodical like this seem to be easy at first glance. The challenge come in when you've covered all the basic stuff and get stuck trying to find new material. This can be extremely challenging when subject material is limited or lack of experience.

Completely understandable. If writers block is the explanation, the solution could be simply Changing the format from Monthly to Bi-Monthly or even Quarterly.
Then Dave could simply assure the people who paid for the 12 issue subscription that they would continue to receive the new issues until all 12 have been delivered. :yes:
Alternatively, Dave could just admit that he bit off more than he could chew and offer a partial refund to the people who paid for the annual subscription.

Coming, but he was just a " New" slot owner last year. It would take one of our very much more seasoned members to take on a task such as this.
Sad to see that he has just left all high and dry though...no excuse for that... :no:

For anyone who paid through Paypal ... Be sure to log into Paypal and revoke the reoccurring payments permission associated with Slot Owners Magazine.
Will not help recover the money we have already lost, but will prevent any more from being taken.
I made the mistake of not revoking a permission to another reoccurring subscription that I had made through paypal, and even though I had canceled that subscription through the company, I still got charged though Paypal on the renewal date. Paypal could not refund my transaction ... They said it was up to the company to refund the transaction since I had agreed to the reoccurring transactions when I first subscribed.

I didn't subscribe to the magazine, for mostly personal reasons, or I would be all over it! What can he do? Delete you? Oooohhhh, that will hurt, there's 10 more people in line behind you...

What happened to this magazine? I paid for a year subscription received 3 then nothing for months. When I email them I get no response? I guess he just ran off with all the money.

Luckily I did not sign up for this or any of the other copywrite infringements from this member. A shame folks have been "shiested". Trust only the one's that deliver and are true. I, Am actually pissed about this as well and had nothing to do with it--Some others here did help on the mag. Was a nice idea and thought, and production and take your $ Yes I used the and a alot. Screw this fella/or whoever. Shit just pisses me off and I did not even sign up. Sorry about the rant. --But BULLSHIT-- 777

Warning to all who signed up for this. Your subscription will auto-renew. I had to contact Apple to complain and they reversed the charges on the auto renew but I still got a fraction of what I paid for last year.

I think it is extremely SHITTY of this guy to do this! He came on WAY to strong to be a genuine slot owner/lover, and I had doubts, but whatever. Total BULLSHIT what he did, and he KNOWS it. But, I understand, after SCREWING so many people, I understand it would be hard to show your face (hell, even your "online" face, you dick, as I KNOW you are reading this....).
What pisses me off more than anything, even though I didn't subscribe to any of his bullshit, is the fact he thinks he WON or SUCCEEDED in some way?!?! Disgusting, that is what it really is....
