Title: PE Poker and Printing Tickets
Post by: eko1987 on November 17, 2017, 12:27:40 PM
Hi,

I have seen PE Poker (I am 100% not Gameking) machines printing tickets (not TITO tickets but more like receipts) when cashing out. Do anyone know how this is done?

Regards,

I didn't think the PE machines in casinos ever had printers but someone may have come up with a way to add one as an after-market thing for home use. Did you see this is a casino, someone's home or elsewhere?

Like they say, with enough time, cleverness and money just about anything is possible. These have been discussions in the past about a possible way to use the hopper signals and connect them to a printer so it would print a ticket showing the coins due when a player presses the "CashOut" button.

I've seen a picture of an old PE+ from Montana, I believe, that had such a receipt printer.  It used a roll of paper like from an old cash register, and would print a receipt which the player would bring to the cashier to get paid.  I've never seen one in person, and I do not know how it was connected to the machine.

We did a system like that when I worked at Fortune Coin for a bar in Montana.
Cashout on the Fortune 1 poker would count up a reset-able meter behind the bar.
A different meter for each machine.
