i recently purchased a superstar poker flash board. It plays fine but the sound only works once every 4 to five spins. I’ve loaded other games and they all work fine. Has anyone seen this issue before? Woul the board need to be re-flashed? Thanks in advance

I had a sound issue with a GK6 flash board. The sound wouldn't work when the machine was cool. Turn the machine on for 15 - 20 minutes and then powercycle it and the sound would play just fine until the machine was shut off and cooled down again. Eventually the sound failed completely and the flash card had to be replaced. I sent it back to be checked out and was told the sound memory on the flash card was bad. If you just got it I'd see if they will exchange it for another one.

As Tilt mentioned its probably the flash card. I had the same problem and it was the card. Good luck!

Sorry for the late update. I tried to power cycle the machine, I left it on for an hour and the sound was still sporadic. I believe the sound on the flash card has gone bad. I bought the board on eBay, unfortunately as is/no return. Lesson learned. Going to have to buy a new flash board. Thank you all for your response and suggestions!

In the future I would purchase from one of the vendors here on NLG for parts. Especially electrical parts.
