Bally 1174 Big Prize slot machine, I picked up 2 of these over Thanksgiving weekend, the guy had 3 but wanted to keep one. I have seen several of the 1 coin version of this machine but not any of the 2 coin version. One of the 2 is fully working and I thought I would use the working one as a guide to help me on the second machine which has not been touched but i would rather trade this for something I do not have already.
The machine was originally coins in and tokens out, has token fill door on the top of the cabinet, the working machine has been converted back to coins in coins out by adjusting the coin chute so coins go into the hopper instead of the drop hole, I can provide photos of how they did it.
I plugged this in and it accepted coins and the coin in bell sounded but the reels will not spin.... I have not touched anything so it will need cleaning up....
Looking for trade offers of uncommon machines, but will look at what ever you want to offer....

Hi Dave, Are there any small circuit boards in those machines?

from what I see there is a small 2 x 3" board in the upper cabinet that has 2 wire terminals connected to it, but its more like little diodes about 8 or 10 of them and not a printed circuit board...

I gave one of these 2 coin games to my in laws about 5 years back. They are skill stop and a nice oddity. The one they have works 100% although they done use it any more. They would part with it I am sure. We are far apart since I am in the New York Area. I even know a friend with a beautiful Luck Twins that he wants to sell to make space for a smaller game. Also Dave, formerly know as the Fat Man. Might want to part with a Medalist. Not too sure about that one. Dave is on this list. Drop him a line.
