Title: new bee to fixing bally slots. the 5500 battery was dead and now replaced.

hi what safe ram clear should i do complete, full or partial, or do i even have to do that i have chips and manual to do job but it dosnt tell me thanks

Try the clear without the clear chips first.
Put the SRAM CLR jumper on both pins.
Hold in the test and pseudo coin buttons, make sure the coin mech switch is in the up position.
Leave the door open and turn on power.
Watch for a CHC then a CLC.
If you get CHP or CLP tap the reset while holding in the test and pseudo buttons.
After the clear leave the door open and let the reels do their bump seek.
When you see a 50 code on the door display remove the board and put the clear jumper on one pin  the game is ready to play.
If none of that works you may need clear chips.

Facing the front of the board it would be the front right corner.
Attached is a form I tape to the top of a customer's board after fixing.
