Title: IGT video poker 1983 model 1070c coin in-timeout
Post by: TMD711 on April 01, 2018, 09:09:08 AM
hi , Im new here and new to owning a poker machine, that being said I unpacked it from shipping and installed the monitor and the hopper plugged it in.  At first the coin acceptor appeared to be humming then it stopped.  I turned off the machine opened the door and started to inspect inside turned the machine back on and had the error message coin in -timeout call attendant message.  Turned off the machine closed the door and tried to insert a coin it goes into the hopper with out ever registering. I have a sneaky suspicion the humming was a solenoid associated with the coin acceptor and when it stopped humming the solenoid probably went bad.  Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, does anyone know how to clear the coin in - tie out message.

Welcome to NLG!       :waving_flag:

Just to make sure we know what model of machine you have it is probably best to post a photo of it. Posting photos is easy. When you are creating a message post look under the message box and find "Attachments and other options" written in green. Click it, then click on "Choose File". That will open a dialog box for you to select the photo you want to attach. After selecting the photo to attach you click "Post" or "Save" like you normally do to post a message.

If you just bought the machine from a slot machine dealer do they offer any help or guidance for new owners? They would be familiar with the machine they sold you and could possibly give advice on getting it setup. If not, once we know exactly what model you have then the folks here can help you to get it working. You'll need to give clear details of what isn't working and be prepared to post photos when needed, otherwise getting good advice for your particular machine will be harder.

Your video poker machine is probably an IGT PE+ model, but that's just a guess. Photos of it will confirm.
