Title: CF Card format for Bally Alpha 2
Post by: 777tow on January 27, 2020, 11:49:42 PM
Got some CF cards with a reader/writer. Question is, do the CF cards need to be formatted before loading game files? If it does need to be formatted, formatted to what and how do you do that?

If you are copying files from a OEM Bally thumb drive installer to a card, it's best to use NTFS formatted cards since the files are usually too large for FAT32 format.  If using WINIMAGE, cards do not have to be formatted, WINIMAGE does that for you in the copy process.
