Anyone has. Information on how to ram clear an igt. Avp

You use a Diagnostic 14 to clear (wipe) ram

To add to Idesign's info...


With power off, insert your Ekey AND the DIAG drive in the 2 secure USB ports on the Brain Box (the USB ports behind the little metal door). Turn power ON and it will boot into the DIAG menu screen where you can "wipe" memory or even format the hard drive, if needed.

To add to Fireballs info,


Once you insert both keys, (diagnostic and ekey7) I believe you go to Non-Volatile Storage then you check all three boxes to the right to do a total ram clear. To do a partial clear, you only check the last box which is the hardrive I believe. Hope this helped !

There are the three check boxes. NVRAM, Cabinet Ram AND Hard Drive.  DO NOT Wipe HARD DRIVE unless you have the installers to put it all together again, that means loaders for the OS and the games installed.  When you have errors, usually just wiping cabinet ram fixes the issue, if it doesn't, then you have to wipe NVRAM and cabinet ram.
