Can someone tell me why my monitor just went out.it says vga in and no signal

Sounds like it lost the signal from the MPU board.  Check the VGA cable at the monitor and the MPU and make sure they're plugged in and tight.    If they are, have you tried rebooting the machine?  Is the MPU getting power to it?
