Title: Getting a saferam error
Post by: startek2 on May 05, 2015, 01:53:03 PM
Hey gang,

We just got this game in.  It was working a few days ago when we ran it.  Today I get a 'saferam corrupted' error.....i pulled the board and found the lithium battery to be totally dead.....i have replaced it.....

What I need to know is 1)what game/version is this?   2) what do I need to do to get the error resolved?  So I need a chip?  If so what chip and where does it go?  This is my first video slot........Pictures are attached....oops the last pic is upside down...that was my not the game lol

It's a Bally Game Make. When you replace the battery on a Game Maker you need to run a clear chip in the P10 location with Dip Switch 1 switches 6,7, and 8 on.

You will then be told to remove the clear chip and reset the 3 switches to off.

When you turn the game back on you will be prompted to set up the game options again.

Things like type of door, is it a upright or slant machine, what kind of coin mech, etc. etc.

Somewhere on NLG is a post on what options need to be set.
