After recently successfully completing my conversion from Bally Alpha 1 to Alpha 2 I would be remiss if I didn't take the time to thank the members on here that helped me finish this project with the least amount of stress and time lost. If it wasn't for this site and the great members on here I can honestly say that I would have never been able to be successful with this project.
Also, i'm more like a slot machine virgin however I do have a strong technical background, but to learn what needed to be learned for converting one of these machines without NLG it would have been impossible.

I did a ton of reading throughout the forum but if it wasn't for "RickHunter", Jeff "iDesign", Dan "FireballJackpot", and Jeremy "GameKingSlots" for not only taking the time to answer all of the questions that I had in detail but also for pointing me in the right direction to buy all of the hardware and software needed for the conversion. Each of the members that I mentioned above took a lot of their own time to make sure I was heading in the right direction and I am extremely thankful to each of them!

So, my hats off not only to these members but also to the entire NLG community and to the ones that made NLG what it is; a true asset to the home gaming community.

Just paying forward the knowledge gathered through the years.  Thanks for the compliments.  Jeff and Dan have been instrumental in my Alpha2 quest over the last year or so of this little adventure.  We all know how scarce the information is for our hobby, so it's up to all of us to spread the fun around.

That is why we are all members on this site! We love our hobby and try our best to help other people! The great members have patience and help with their knowledge without getting grumpy! I personally love to help the noobs with what I know and will continue to help with any information I know! Shit, I get off on helping other members.. tissues please.


Kudos to the members you mentioned!!! Would love to meet these guys someday! Vegas? haha.
