Has anyone figured out how to make fooler board for the wheel on top of an A2?
-
I don't think it is as easy as that. The top wheel is a 1 reel stepper mech with correponding controller. I've noticed that the newer A2 games with a wheel are all just lcd based, where the wheel is just a monitor screen. But the older ones look like they use the same wheels out of the A1 cash wheels (the later type). I don't think I have an a2 game title that uses the top wheel, otherwise I would try and just plug in the usb cable from my Reel Winner wheel game into my a2 to see if it would work.

The original CASH WIZARD required a Cash Wheel. I have it but don't have the newer Cash Wheel otherwise I would try it out.

This is just a complete guess but on the harness of the wheel
There should be a tx/rx wire pair. I want to make a
Fooler to answer the machine and make the game work.
What molex does wheel plug into ?

The wheel is nothing more than a stepper reel. It connects to the top backplane much in the way the 3 reel and 5 reel machines connect, there's also a reel controller in the top connected to the top backplane. Then there's a usb cable that plugs into a usb extender in the top box, which is connected to hub on the main reel backplane. So it's not a RS-232 type connection.

I wonder if the usb is for lighting -
does it work with the usb disconnected ?

The USB connects the secondary reel controller to the system, If the USB is not plugged in, you get a tilt and the game doesn't start.
