Title: Battery question for PE+

I have had my machines unplugged for a while and need to replace the batteries again.
I was thinking about replacing with a battery holder so I do not have to resolder the batteries in the future.
Has anyone done this? Is there anything negative about doing this?

1/2 AA battery holders work.

I suggest using the Lithium AA's - they don't leak and have a much longer life when not in use than the alkaline.
This is what they use in the Blink Outdoor wireless cameras and they get a 2yr (active) life.

Yes I have, and no downside to it.  This one is still going strong, so it's not something you have to replace often.
