Title: Coin Out Time Out Error Message Help

I thought I was out of the woods when my last problem simply vanished.  When I dropped a coin in and won a hand I got a Coin Out Time Out Message.


I had seen this once before and I shook the hopper to make sure it was seated properly.  When the pay finished the error went away.  No such luck this time.  I gave the hopper a shove and it finished paying out.  The next had the same thing happened but this time nothing could clear the condition.


Any suggestions?

the hopper is controlled by the logic board mounted to the left side of the cabinet. check the wiring that goes from the hopper plug into the board, if I remember correctly they used the same type of connector as Bally did (the open on top and inset the wire and use a push down tool to push the wire into a "v" connector, this also pierced through the insulation and made an electrical connection. over time these become loose and intermittent.)

Thank you so much for your expertise.  I don't know much about these games but I enjoy them a great deal.   My Father in law is 82 and loves black Jack.   This game, if I can get it working will bring a great old guy a lot of pleasure.
