Greetings all!
I’ve been playing with AVPs most recently and I bought an AVP694 processor on a whim so that I can learn about newer stuff. I’m not soliciting any freebies or stolen software here, just information. I believe that this processor is from a Crystal Core machine.
1. Where does video connect? There is a row of 5 connectors which I believe are Mini Display Ports, is this correct? Why 5 ports? There is also a VGA port but I’m thinking that this is for BIOS.
2. There is an empty slot to the right of a 9 pin serial port, what goes here? Is this an interface to the rest of the machine? Where can I get one of these boards?
3. Below the 9 pin serial port there is a small connector with perhaps 20 pins, it is labeled ‘B’. What is this for?
4. As I understand it, BIOS and presumably SJUR are loaded from a thumb drive, where can I get these?
