Title: bally s6000 monte carlo
Post by: Chuck spurlock on March 24, 2023, 10:02:02 PM
where to start, well I had the machine going and I noticed the plug on the front of the mpu tray was not all the way in so not thinking I pushed it in while the machine was on and it shorted and tripped one of the fuses on the on/off switch box now no matter what I try it stays on code 50 open door. I've changed the optics, the mains, power supplies, mpu and other different parts that I can't think of right now. Anyway it still stays on 50, any ideas?

Backplane.? MC has a power supply and circuit breakers in the top like there is in the bottom. Check the CB in the top PS. Or maybe one of the top section bonus switches, if you didn't bypass them.

Found this, maybe it will help:

Monte carlo code 77:  Dip switch #1 was not set correct. 4-5-6 needed to be switched on-off-on for secondary device.

BTW is there a battery on the wheel board?

Are you trying to run a TITO on that s6000?

I ran into the same issue.
Everything worked great until i hit the 'spin' bonus and it threw an error code.
I thought I read here that the TITO was not compatible with wheel games. I gave up and scrapped the cabinet, moved on to an easier project.
