Just got a couple new games and I get "smart card not found". So I tried some of my old games and the machine goes into reboot mode. Can low batteries do this? I checked them and only get 1.8v. Should be 3v.
The old games are correctly installed as I have the setup info recorded. Thanks.

I put the batteries back in and now my old games work. I've got Buffalo (1.01-6072) and Tiki Torch 1.01-60854. After I put the game card in after the set chip I get "operating system not found". Never had this before. Any ideas? Thanks.

OS not found means the Game card does not have a valid boot record. Either card is corrupt, or it maybe one of those games that has both a CF card and an SSD (although not sure on this last point).
