Hi. Looking for a little help and hoping someone has some info. I ave an S2000 Five Time Pay(5 line 5 credit) machine. It is running on an s+ chip and I want to switch it to an s2000 chip(SB100387). I understan thet I will need to change the reel strips. Is there a list that would tell me what I need? And does the Five times 5 line use the same strips as the Five times single line? Thanks for any info.

If you were to take a look at the three reel strips, is this what yours presently look like below? :Scratch-Head:
The 1st two strips should be the same, while the 3rd strip is different.

Hi. Think you. I will check when I get home tonight. The S+ chip that’s in it now has 7906s written on it.
-
so, you want to change from a 5 line game to a single line game?
you would have to change out the reel glass , or maybe not??
I probably have the strips for what you want to do.
Jim
-
I am wanting to keep it a five line. The SB100387 should be for the 5 line. I did take a look at all the pics I have on my phone and it appears that the strips I have now are the ones you described above.
-
Yes SB100387 should work fine. It's 5L5C also.
-
So do you know which reel strips would be needed for that chip?
-
if the machine worked fine with the strips you have, changing to a SB chip does not mean you have to change strips, they should work fine.
where did it say you would have to change strips when you change from a SS to a SB??
and in answer to your other question, the strips are different between the single line and 5 line.

I put the new chip in and all the paylines were all incorrect. I messaged the guy I bought the chip from, and he said I have the wrong strips. Im pretty new to the slot machine hobby, so I figured he knew what he was talking about. The machine works properly with the s+ chip.
-
Another thought….. should I have done a clear chip on this when I put in the new chip? I only pulled the old SB chip and s+ chip, and installed the new SB chip.
-
If you want to know what chip is in the machine? It will tell you.
Go to the menu, accounting, get into that menu, scroll to version accounting, scroll through that list, it will show every chip and number in your machine.
Hop this helps
Jim
-
I was not aware of that. Thank you for that. I will definitely check that out tonight after I put that chip back in the machine.
-
SB100342 will likely work , or that could be the other version
-
sorry, that is the other version 5 line 75 coin

I would do this with the SB chip in the machine also. can't hurt.
-
Good thinking. I’ll check it before I try the new again.

No. No need for clear. The guy sent you the wrong SB chip.
-
Ask him if he'll take it back, and send you the right one.
Does his first name begin with a letter J ? :rotfl:
-
Yes
-
I recommend member RB for base chips, or others. I have seen many people have issues with the suspected seller.
Thanks,
Wayne
-
Thanks Wayne. I will definitely look him up

Thanks for that info. I did verify that the chip is an SB100387.
-
Well…. I checked the settings and verified that the chips are all what they say they are. The reel strips mentioned above are what I currently have. The paylines are still off with th SB100387. Apparently the strips are different for the SB chip.
I really appreciate all the input and help from everyone today. What a great site you all have put together!
-
Well looks like you need to use the SS chip after all, at least for now.
-
If you were to pull off the reel strips from the reel baskets, printed on the very bottom of each strip, is their numbers.
Now be careful, do not mix them up.
What are your strip numbers in order from left to right?
Are the symbols on the three strips in the same locations?
I'd remove them from the reels, place them side-by-side on the floor, and take a photo for members to see.
What we need to find for you, is a PAR sheet on the different SB chips you've mentioned earlier, and we'll be able to see if there's a match?
We need a PAR sheet for SB100387 and SB100342 and see what the differences are.
Need to find an SB chip that matches the SS7906 (95%/AAB) reel strips.
Looking at the PAR for SS7906, it's pretty wild and you can see from this why it tends to hit big after performing a Clear.
The upper % can be as high 156% for the player at a thousand pulls!! hahaha! ...>>>
90% CONFIDENCE VALUES VOLATILITY INDEX = 19.452
HANDLE PULLS LOWER UPPER
PERCENTAGE PERCENTAGE
1,000 33.50 156.52
10,000 75.56 114.46
100,000 88.86 101.16
1,000,000 93.06 96.95
10,000,000 94.39 95.62

SB100342 is for the 75 coin version shown in this pic. It uses abc strips, not aab and is completely different than the 5 coin one. Sorry to confuse by posting the number.
I'm wondering if the offset is different for the sb chip vs the ss chip. Pictures would be helpful

Thanks again for all your help. I just started messing these machines a few months ago, and I am totally fascinated with them. LOL.
Here is a pic of my strips. They do match the chart you posted yesterday. the part #'s are: 84872400, 84872400, 84872500.

As big as these pictures are, probably the biggest I've ever seen on NLG, I still cannot :sherlock: read the numbers on the bottom?
The resolution is horrible! :rotfl:
I'll take your word that they're...>>>
1). 84872400
2). 84872400
3). 84872500
I don't have any S2000 SBxxxx chip PAR sheets.
Maybe smeone else can help you with that.
The PAR sheet for that SS7906 chip doesn't even show where the symbols are on that 3rd reel strip...only the 1st two.

I only sent the one pic, and they match the chart you sent yesterday. I didn’t send a closeup of the part numbers because of file size, but yes, those are the numbers on my reels.
I’m not even sure where to find the PAR sheets. I may just leave it the way it is. Thanks again for all you help.

your strips are for the S-Plus version of the game, that's why they match the strip listing, and your ss chip works. not every game was transferred over to the S2000 platform with the exact version of sb chips. staying with your SS chips may be the way to go, however if anyone comes across the par sheet for your sb chip, we can see if it's just a matter of offsetting your strips in the basket, or what the matching strips would be.
did you play long enough to get any pays/wins? if so, did strips 1 and 2 match the payout, but not strip 3? or did nothing make sense?
If I manage to find out anything, I'll let you know.
thanks,
Wayne

I have the glass and S+ strips here somewhere. I will try to play around with them and the SB a little later if I have time. I know the strips also work for 3L3C S+ game which is a really good game.

Yeah I played until it hit multiple times. all the reels seemed to be out of wack.
I really appreciate everything. Thank you

That sounds great. Thanks for everything.

Well there is no easy offset to use that SB chip. You are going to have to stick with the SS chip with those S+ strips.

Thats the way it’s looking. Thanks for checking on it.
