Title: Help on my GameKing issue
Post by: jimhowardjr on April 29, 2024, 07:08:09 AM
Hi All,

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction in trying to figure out what I did to my machine.  My GameKing machine was working fine until i tried to move it.  I had it temporarily on top of a milk crate as I was redoing the floor on my finished side of the basement.  When I was taking the working slot machine down from the milk crate, it slid off the end and the bottom hit the floor pretty hard.  I moved the machine back to it original location and plugged it in...no lights lit and nothing showed up on the screen when I turned it back on.  When I shut the machine off, I did see the screen flicker as can be seen in the video link below (a link on one drive since the video file is too big to attach).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Jim

Check the ac cord to be sure it's securely connected to the distribution box. Also check the main power supply to be sure it is properly seated and screwed in. Many times it has just slid out of the connector because someone was to lazy to tighten the thumbscrew.

Thanks for the response.   I'll check the cord and power supply connections.

Was able to find the problem after checking all the connections.  You were right!  - it was the DC power supply had moved a little and wasn't making the connection.  I pushed the board all the way back in and plugged the machine back in....I'm back in business.

Thanks for the help.
