Title: Has anybody seen this setup in a Bally EM?

Do your lights blink? I had a similar setup in a machine i worked on it was tied into the lighs to add a kind of atract function. Mine it wasnt a tube tho more a turn signal modual out of a car.

The machine belongs to a customer back east, he sent me a picture of the curious module inside the machine.

Well with out knowing what its wired into its hard to say what it might be. I watch the ems that go through the shop i work at and have never seen a vacume tube. The only thing close was what i discribed above.

OMG! It's an old electron tube, it works like a transistor. But it can manage many more ampere.

Trace the wires and look for voltage present to get an idea what its going to power or control. Could be hooked to another coil to make it turn and off thru the relay, but a little over kill I think. I like the old flasher bulbs for being simple.
