S Plus sound issue

I have an S Plus that has barely audible sound...
I have adjusted the volume control mounted on the board to no avail. Speaker checks out as well
..I was going to attempt to run a jumper or a resistor across the volume pot to see if that is the issue, but not sure which pins to jump...it has 4 solder points.
Any help would be appreciated

Replace the large capacitor that is in series with the off board speaker.

De-oxit works wonders if the control is dirty, but usually you can still adjust the volume and it will have a lot of static when you turn it.  If you don't have De-oxit isopropyl alcohol can help with it too at least temporarily.  I'm not sure what cap badbaud is referring to either.  Hopefully he can provide a component designator for it.
