Need help, Bally E1000 problems
« on: May 14, 2023, 03:27:31 AM »
Hello to all! I got a Bally E1212 slot machine , the problem is that after turning on ,the left reel stopper coil activates immidiately, and the left one starts to pulse randomly.  If I activate the coin switch it goes into tilt most of the time. In some cases its accepting the coin, but after pulling the handle all reel stopper coils activating . Any suggestions on where should I start would be appreciated!

I would start with reseating the connectors on the main board and especially the i/o board. Power off of course. Sometimes this will get you a step or two.

Some pics would be good both inside the machine and the front of the machine. One without the reel mech would be useful as well.

Good luck!

Defective driver transistor on the IO board. I've seen this happen in the past. You can swap the components for the same parts in the 4th. or 5th. reel (unused) location.

Check your connectors along the top of the IO board for a loose terminal first.
