Hello again.
Another "quick" question for the guru's out there.......
When setting up games on my 550 conversion, I choose the "standard" button panel in the set up menu.
When setting up games on my new BB1 dual screen with EBB, what will I select for the button panel??? Common, Standard, or ????? :Scratch-Head:
I have not tried yet, just want to be ready when the time comes.
Also, will Hitchcock run on SSG1220?? That is the only "E" family one I have........
Thanks
Steve

Pick Standard and yes 1220 or 1240 will work

HELP.......!!!
So I am trying to load Hitchcock in my BB and I get a PREPART DSS SIGNATURE VALIDATION FAILURE message right after the ram check and files detected part (very early in process before anycard validation attempts)
What is this caused by ????
Please help
Thanks,
Steve

Are you using original WMS cards?
-
NO.......... but............
I am reading another thread about the bios version causing this issue and I think mine is the earlier one not v2000. That may be it.....right?
Steve
-
That is most likely your problem. However, what cards are you using?
-
I am using the Sandisk cards that I have been using for years in my conversion. They support the newer SG OS's in that one so I think it has to be BIOS which looks like v. 1.660 or so it says on the sticker.....
I need a v2000 EPROM.

Airplane is a BB1.5 game. An NXT2 MPU is needed, dual screen 19"s or 22"s.
-
Damn!!!
Well I will have to wait on that one then.
Thanks for the quick reply. Meantime, Hitchcock is a great game, and the first I have seen on the BB1 platform to include video snippets in the bonus round. Brilliant!! :applause:

Sweet! That's a game I have been looking for on Feebay etc.. Airplane is a must have also.., Hilarious! :cool_thumb_up:

Hitchcock is a fun game, wasnt bad on the 550 either. that random bonus make you jump if the sounds to loud when it pops up. My wife hated it so i changed it out.

Airplane has a similar bonus, when triggered it makes it seem the machine is shorting out and then the guy pops out of the side of the black screen.., GREAT game in my opinion!
Now to hunt down Hitchcock, I've never played it.. :hissyfit:

Harvs, hitchcock is a bb1 dual screen game, requires the TseTse board.

I'm TSETSELESS.., And I thought I was a man.... Haha

Hitchcock won't run on the 550 even with the dual screen tse-tse board. Needs the SPN hardware for the extra bet.......
I may try to load airplane and see what happens anyway.............;-)

Airplane will play just fine in a BB1 cabinet with a BB2 CPU, no need for Dual Monitors. I have 12 of them right now
The Airplane and Jackpot Block Party were the first 2 themes released as upgrades that needed the BB2 CPU
Also here is the BB2 Version of Houdini (Dual Wide Screen BB2)

Jim, You ARE Houdini--- :cool_thumb_up: . 'ole B.

Note taken. - Both great games.

I sure miss my dual screen BBU-1.....
The WMS machines are awesome
