Got a board into the shop, replaced the dead battery and set it up to be tested on our Game Maker tester.
Mechanical door, coin acceptor only, no bill validator.
Coin in works fine and I can select a game and play it but when I go back to the menu to select another game the initial, power on, window pops up
and shows no errors and I have to open and close the door to get the message to disappear so I can select a new game.
I have tried different mains and game programs but still get the same message problem.
Were some boards wired to only accept a door setting that was not "mechanical only"?
If so how do I defeat this, or should I not defeat it and let the customer set up the board in their machine?
